Looking for new management for 2019

(see blog below)

Hear & read about us!

Now Calgarians have a new form of weekly market - one where YOU can sell whatever treasures, fresh produce, crafted treats you have lovingly made, or garage-sale goodies.  Be it farm-fresh, cool & collectible, baby safe, sports kit, workshop tools, home & garden, or an Objet d'Art; if you have it or want it there's a stall here for you! Our regular vendors welcome drop-in Calgarians who bring tables full of treasures, then go home unburdened and richer for the experience.

Family fun like foody food-trucks, bouncy house, face painting, pony rides, try-a-trapeze, balloon animals and live music are frequently found here too to keep all ages happy and bouncing - subject to availability!
We are a friendly rabble of Foodies, Artisans, Connoisseurs, Appreciators and Collectors; our Vibe is Interesting, Ethical, Chic, Local, Cool and Sustainable - come along and add to the Vibe!

Treasure Sales, Saturdays 10-4pm

at Wild Wild West Event Centre

September 19, 2018

Most of our vendors were selling foods this last Saturday, (including Darnell with his mini-donuts) so no wonder they all did okay despite an early damp fog (food always sells well). Well done for damning the damp and taking home the bacon.... (I bought some Tupperware...

We were joined by a couple of newbies as usual at Treasure Sales on the weekend;

Veronica brought a giant selection of vintage and classic jewellery, purses, handbags jewellery boxes and the like,

We were happily joined at the weekend by some more newbies; this time Oscar bringing fresh hothouse vegetables, chips & dips, Orysya's ink fine art - which I love, and Melodie offering a wide variety of toiletries, books and amusements all in aid of autism assistance....

July 18, 2018

From this Saturday I'm delighted to announce that we'll be joined by two newbies - Dave of the Cloverleaf Hutterite Colony from Delia near Drumheller, bringing all sorts of fresh vegetables and pickles (and soon bread too we hope), plus Oscar with his dips, chips, hone...

PHHHAARRRRP!

We all suffered from a bad case of wind during this last Treasure Sale - gusts up to 49km/h sent many vendors scrambling after their goods!  SO from now on I am hoping to be able to relocate us into the grass courtyard which is much more sheltered and lush.

The Kid Zone was well used this week, as families enjoyed the holiday weekend, sharing a little time between us and Calaway Park.

Also see in the other photo what happens when one of our precious lawn signs advertising the market is run over by the city's lawnmowers - i...

June 29, 2018

Ha!  Forecast Shmorecast!  So okay, last week's forecast was a bit off; we ended up standing around until 11am waiting for a break in the rain that never came; plus Calaway Park closed for the day so ultimately we never happened.

But This week's fore...

June 18, 2018

Despite a quiet Saturday Treasure Sale (witness this photo of Calaway's car park at 11am shows barely 3 rows of visitors' cars), we have a good line up for next week.  So Saturday's threatened storms never happened at the market, but this coming weekend's forecast is g...
